Direct Forklift donates lift to community mission

Direct Forklift and Equipment Company from Boardman, Ohio donated a 4,000-pound capacity Yale MSW040 Electric Straddle Stacker lift truck to the Warren Family Mission.

The mission handles over 10,000 pounds of food at their distribution center and when it is delivered it is in pallets.  Until the donation of the lift truck, workers had to unload on the ground floor and slide it up the stairs to the main storage area.

The donation came about when Carl Stitzel co-owner of Direct Forklift and DEL Life Rentals saw a news story about the mission and wanted to help. Stitzel ran a promotion in December in his community that a portion of all lift sales and rentals went to the mission.  The mission said instead of a monetary donation all they needed was a forklift.  So he prepared a forklift for the mission to use and help their backs.
