Industrial SalesLeads has announced the June 2026 results of its planned capital project spending report for the Distribution and Supply Chain industry. New planned projects fell for a third straight month, with research confirming 184 projects in June 2026 down from 198 in April and 187 in May, a cumulative 7.1% decline over the second quarter. The firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity, including facility expansions, new plant construction, and significant equipment modernization projects.

During the month of June, our research team identified 6 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

The largest project is owned by Johnson & Johnson, who is investing $1 billion for the construction of a distribution facility in JACKSONVILLE, FL. Completion is slated for 2028. The project includes the renovation and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing facility in JACKSONVILLE, FL.

Texas: Global online retailer is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 1 million sf distribution center at 2550 Travel St. in DALLAS, TX. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Arizona: Specialty construction and engineering company is planning for the construction of a 480,000 SF manufacturing, warehouse, and office facility in PHOENIX, AZ. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Illinois: Production studio is planning to invest $95 million for the construction of a warehouse, production studio, and office campus in WOOD RIVER, IL. The project includes the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 50,000 SF warehouse and studio facility in GRANITE CITY, IL. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Virginia: Skincare and nutritional supplement MFR. is planning to invest $85 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 146,000 SF processing, warehouse, laboratory, and office facility at 2797 Frontage Rd. NW in ROANOKE, VA. They have recently received approval for the project.

Florida: Automobile dealer is planning to invest $75 million for the construction of a 180,000 SF sales, service, and warehouse facility on SR 207 in ST. AUGUSTINE, FL. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Delaware: Railroad equipment MFR. is planning to invest $55 million for the construction of a warehouse and maintenance facility at 5701 Promontory Pkwy in NEWARK, DE. The project includes the renovation of an existing warehouse and office at the site. Completion is slated for Summer 2028.

Indiana: Grain marketing and transportation service provider is planning to invest $47 million for the expansion of their warehouse and storage facility in MOUNT VERNON, IN. They have recently received approval for the project.

Iowa: Aluminum extrusion MFR. is planning to invest $35 million for a 124,000 SF expansion, renovations, and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing and warehouse facility in INDEPENDENCE, IA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
