Experienced technology leader to accelerate digital transformation and innovation initiatives

 VitalEdge Technologies has announced the immediate appointment of Gagan Deshpande as Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this pivotal role, Deshpande will spearhead strategic IT initiatives, driving technological excellence, cybersecurity advancements, and robust infrastructure development to support VitalEdge’s continued growth.

Deshpande brings nearly two decades of industry experience to his new role, including a significant tenure at e-Emphasys Technologies, which later became part of VitalEdge.  During his time there, he led global infrastructure modernization and reliability initiatives and held roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Information  Technology and Director of Business Innovation. Most recently, as Executive Vice  President of IT and Acting CIO, he strengthened cybersecurity frameworks, advanced customer-focused technology operations, and fostered a culture of innovation.  

At Nuance Communications, a Microsoft company, Deshpande held several strategic leadership roles, significantly enhancing global service reliability and customer satisfaction. As Senior Director – Service Reliability Center, he led the transition to a secure, scalable global operations model aligned with DevSecOps practices. Additionally,  as co-site leader for Nuance India, he was instrumental in driving operational stability,  talent development, and strategic growth.  

Deshpande began his career as a Software Engineer at Patni Computer Systems and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
