Marking eight decades of excellence and growth in bulk material handling

Hapman is to celebrate its 80th anniversary. Founded in 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, Hapman began its journey with the launch of the Tubular Drag Conveyor for the automotive industry. Over the years, Hapman has consistently expanded its capabilities and product offerings, gradually shifting its primary focus from automotive applications to the powder and bulk solids sector. With expertise in industries ranging from food production, chemical manufacturing, and wastewater treatment, Hapman has earned its reputation as a trusted name in material handling.

As Hapman marks this milestone anniversary, the company reflects on a legacy defined by reliability and ongoing improvement. Recent product introductions, including the CablePro™ and PosiPro®, have reinforced Hapman’s role as a trusted partner in bulk material handling. Looking ahead, Hapman is preparing to launch an additional conveyor, further broadening its lineup of solutions to address evolving customer needs.

Alongside new product development, Hapman is expanding its manufacturing footprint. The facility expansion will add 18,500 square feet, an increase of 35%, to support rising demand and boost operational efficiency. In 2025, Hapman will also open a new test lab, giving customers the opportunity to validate material handling solutions under real-world conditions and ensure optimal performance for their specific applications.
