UniCarriers Americas announces 2015 UniCarriers Dealership Hero

UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) announces Denny Palmer as its 2015 Dealership Hero.

UCA recently launched a new campaign, 2015 Dealership Hero, to pay tribute to dealership employees who go the extra mile to exceed expectations, accomplish what others can’t, accept all challenges and be a living example for the company’s recent Never Quit branding campaign, promoting excellence in engineering, manufacturing and product support. After narrowing it down to five finalists, Denny Palmer, parts analyst and expert for North Coast Lift Truck in Mentor, Ohio, was chosen as the winner.

Palmer’s desire to solve customers’ problems and his vast knowledge from his four decades of experience working for his own business, as well as working for others in the dealership parts sector, made him a standout amongst other candidates. In addition to his superb contributions at work, Palmer is very active in his church and leads adult Sunday school, praise groups, life recovery groups and is actively involved in church grounds maintenance.

“Denny is sought after for those difficult or impossible jobs that always come up, because he always has an answer or an alternative,” said Terry Garrity, parts manager at North Coast Lift Truck. “Denny is a ‘go-to’ when you need those hard-to-find parts or answers. Denny’s skills, abilities and willingness to help at work or home make him a true hero.”

“With his relentless drive and passion for solving difficult problems, Denny embodies the ‘never quit’ attitude we were looking for in our search for the dealership hero,” said Steve Cianci, vice president, sales and marketing at UCA. “Congratulations, Denny. Your tireless work ethic and positive attitude are sure to inspire many more heroes in the coming years.”

The campaign was run through an app on the UniCarriers Facebook page, where fans of the page could vote for the winner. Palmer was awarded a big screen TV, and an iPad was awarded to Garrity for nominating Palmer. All voters were entered to be one of ten lucky winners to win a $20 VISA gift card.
