Today, Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and providers of material handling, automation, and fleet solutions, announced Berry Mansfield’s appointment as its new president, effective April 1, 2025.

Ken Barina, who has led the company for the past 12 years and has been with Logisnext for over 38 years, will retire from full-time duties on March 31, 2025. Barina will transition to a part-time role as Chairman, where he will continue to provide strategic guidance.

Previously, Mansfield was executive vice president and CFO for Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas in Houston, overseeing finance, human resources, information technology, and legal divisions. He has been with Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas for over 28 years, contributing to various leadership roles, including 10 years in product marketing and regional sales management. He also worked for UniCarriers Americas (UCA) in Marengo before the organizational integration of Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Americas Inc. (MCFA) and UCA.

“Leading Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas into its next chapter is an incredible honor,” said Berry Mansfield, Incoming President of Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas. “Ken Barina has built an exceptional foundation, and I am committed to advancing our legacy of innovation, customer service, and collaboration with dealer partners. With our talented employees and dedicated dealer network, we are well-positioned to drive the future of material handling.”

Barina has been a driving force in the material handling industry for nearly four decades. His career began at Caterpillar in 1986, where he held key roles in marketing, product development, and field sales before joining MCFA in 1992. After rising through the ranks, he was named President in 2013, leading the company through transformational growth and industry advancements.

“It has been a privilege to serve as President, and I know the company is in great hands with Berry Mansfield,” said Ken Barina, President of Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas. “His deep industry expertise and vision will drive Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas forward, ensuring it continues to set the standards for excellence in material handling and automation.”

Under Mansfield’s leadership, Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas will continue to invest in long-term capabilities, set new industry standards, and expand its commitment to customer services, innovation, and operational excellence. With a proven leader at the helm, the company is poised for a strong and dynamic future in the global material handling market.
