Hyundai Forklift recently held its national dealer meeting which brought together a total of 96 dealer attendees from 56 dealerships in the North Americas.  The three day event was held at the company’s headquarters in Norcross, GA beginning on Monday, November 11 and concluding on Wednesday, November 13.     “We are extremely pleased with the attendance of our dealers at this meeting,” states Sam Yoon, President of Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc.  “We are very appreciative of the continued support and loyalty from our dealer partners, and with an 80% turnout it shows how committed our dealers really are.”

During the course of the three-day meeting, President Sam Yoon discussed with attendees the company’s sales progress in the past year as well as the goals and priorities for the years to come. Specific goals discussed for 2014 included bettering the standard warranty, reinforcing product support, enhancing service team capabilities and improving factory quality. Dealers were also given sneak peeks of upcoming products as well as an overview of some of the new nine series forklifts which are set to launch in 2014. Time was also allocated towards discussing parts, customer service, marketing strategies, financing programs and warranties. In addition to various informative and educational sessions, the three-day meeting left plenty of time for networking. On Tuesday night, dealers gathered for a sit-down dinner and awards ceremony where several high-performing dealers were awarded for their achievements in 2013. Both Leavitt Machinery, based in British Columbia, and Lonestar Forklift out of Texas took home Hyundai’s Pinnacle Award, an honor designated for the company’s top performing dealer.  Hyundai also presented Herc-U-lift from Minnesota, Lift Depot out of Ontario, and M&L Industries from Louisiana with Summit Awards for their exceptional sales performance in 2013.  The G.W. Van Keppel Company received the Peak Performer Award for being Hyundai Forklift’s top first year dealer. “It has been a truly positive experience to bring our dealer partners together for this occasion,” states Yoon.  “Based on the response from attendees, our dealers are excited about the direction the company is headed and we are confident that our aggressive product offerings will lead to significant progress in Hyundai becoming a larger player in the lift truck market.” Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. offers quality earthmoving and material-handling equipment, including hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders and electric and diesel forklifts.
