Diamond Wipes International receives Women’s Business Enterprise National Council Certification

Diamond Wipes International received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by The Women’s Business Enterprise Council West, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by The Women’s Business Enterprise Council West is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

“As a woman who immigrated to the U.S. 20 years ago, I’m proud that I was able to start my own company and continue to manufacture our products in the United States,” said Eve Yen, founder and president of Diamond Wipes.  “Today we produce over 2.2 million wet wipes daily. We have two facilities, in California and Ohio. Supporting each other is essential to success. By joining WBENC, I’m looking forward to working with corporate members and support other woman-owned businesses to achieve more success in today’s competitive business landscape.”

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies, WBENC and its regional partners demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
