Adept Technology, Inc. announced the grand opening of its east coast application and demo center within the company’s Amherst, New Hampshire facility. The demonstration center allows Adept customers and integrators to prove out advanced robotic packaging, handling, dispensing or assembling applications in real time using Adept robots and industry-leading vision guidance and conveyor controls. In addition all Adept mobile robot models are available for testing both commercial and research applications.

“We are very excited to have this demonstration center in Amherst for our customers located on the east coast of the United States,” said Merrill Apter, vice president of North American sales. “It is an ideal location within close proximity to many Adept end-users and system integrator partners accessible from several airports. The facility has all the capabilities of our other technical centers and is staffed by Adept Application engineers who have extensive expertise in flexible manufacturing, primary and secondary food packaging.”

The Amherst facility is the newest addition to Adept’s other worldwide technical locations in California, Germany, France, Singapore and China. The team at the 5,000 square foot facility center can provide design, programming, testing and training for all Adept kinematics including Cobra SCARA, Viper 6-Axis, Python linear modules and Quattro parallel model as well as flexible feeding solutions including the Adept Anyfeeder and Flexibowl.
