2nd Step Awards recognize women for excellence in manufacturing
Dr. Maureen Lockwood, Manufacturing Manager at Thombert, Inc., Newton, Iowa will be awarded the Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Award. The STEP Awards honor women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers and represent all levels of the manufacturing industry, from the factory-floor to senior management. The STEP Awards will be presented in Washington, DC on February 7, 2014.

Dr. Lockwood has earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The University of Iowa, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a Doctorate of Management from the University of Phoenix.
