CLARK Material Handling Company has announced it has been honored with the 2025 Destiny Award by Kentucky Employers’ Mutual Insurance (KEMI), its workers’ compensation insurance carrier. Out of more than 18,000 KEMI policyholders statewide, only 27 organizations received this prestigious award—placing CLARK among an elite group of safety-focused employers across Kentucky.
This year’s recognition marks CLARK’s ninth time receiving the Destiny Award, underscoring the company’s long-standing and deeply rooted commitment to workplace safety. The award was presented this week at KEMI’s annual Destiny Award ceremony held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky. Presented annually, the KEMI Destiny Awards recognize policyholders who best exemplify KEMI’s motto, “Control your own destiny.” The award symbolizes what can be achieved when organizations invest in strong safety programs, provide consistent training and communication, and foster a culture where safety is a shared responsibility at every level.
CLARK was selected after meeting a stringent set of criteria that reflect the company’s ability to manage a formal safety program, conduct on-site training and regular safety meetings, and demonstrate continuous improvement through hazard awareness and employee engagement.

“Destiny Award winners comprise an elite group of organizations demonstrating ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of Kentucky’s workforce by emphasizing safety every day,” said Jon Stewart, President and CEO of KEMI.
For CLARK, the award is more than an operational milestone—it reflects the company’s values.

“Safety is foundational to how we work, how we lead, and how we build,” said CLARK President & CEO Chuck Moratz. “The same culture of care and accountability that protects our employees is engineered into the products we design and manufacture. This recognition belongs to our entire Kentucky team, who make safety a priority every single day.”
