Storage Solutions provides liquidation and auction services to Innovel Solutions

Storage Solutions, Inc. announced that as a result of supply chain consolidation by Innovel Solutions, a subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck & Company, as announced earlier in the year, it has selected the company to provide reduction management services to its former retail distribution center facilities in Forest Park, Georgia; Groveport, Ohio and Sparks, Nevada.  Storage Solutions will be liquidating all identified material handling equipment, pick modules and inventory racking at each facility.  This project will be completed in phases by May of 2016.

“Storage Solutions has a unique position in the marketplace to provide these services to companies of all sizes in North America that are relocating, consolidating or ceasing operation,” said Kevin Rowles, president of Storage Solutions. “We were pleased to work with Innovel Solutions to create a highly sophisticated and scalable plan to meet all of their needs during the liquidation process, and expect to exceed expectations by the end of the project.”

In addition to reselling its racking and conveyor systems in all three locations, Storage Solutions will provide management services for auctioning the maintenance, office and other powered equipment, as well as the remaining batteries and chargers for each warehouse. Innovel Solutions, through its parent company Sears, Roebuck & Co., is receiving full management of these auctions, including marketing and promotion, leveraging its vast database of contacts within the material handling industry and onsite management throughout the process.
