SPYDERCRANE equips mini crawler cranes with Hirschmann’s new qSCALE I2 LMI

SPYDERCRANE has installed Hirschmann’s new qSCALE I2 load moment indicator on four of their mini crawler models (the URW375, URW376, URW547, and URW706).  The qSCALE I2 assists the operator by displaying crane load and geometric information, including actual/allowable load, boom length, boom angle, radius, and anti-two block.

The LMI features a color graphic display with customized software to meet SPYDERCRANE’s requirements, making it a perfect fit for the company’s mini crawler cranes.  The software is easily uploaded to the LMI via a USB stick and configuration is simplified using the Crane Configuration Tool.

The SPYDERCRANE mini crawlers equipped with the new qSCALE I2 are currently in the field being used specifically in the oil, gas and construction industries.  These cranes feature a highly compact design making it possible for them to be used in tight, confined areas.  The unique design of these cranes provides the user with a solution for restricted areas where other cranes would not fit.

The qSCALE I2 LMI is one of the many products that have built a long-lasting relationship between Hirschmann MCS and SPYDERCRANE over the past five years.
