Two providers of environmental products and services used to contain, transport and dispose of hazardous and radioactive materials – PacTec, Inc. and SECUR, LLC — announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership to cross-sell and support each other’s products and services. The agreement will enhance the packaging, technical and logistical expertise available to PacTec customers across a wide range of waste management, environmental restoration, decommissioning and remediation challenges.

The alliance enables environmental professionals to manage more efficiently waste management and remediation projects through single-source buying of packaging materials, project design and logistical or technical service solutions. PacTec, Inc. is known particularly for its innovative flexible packaging products while SECUR’s products and services include all types of metal and intermodal containers as well as technical and logistical services.

“We’re delighted to be working closely with SECUR to offer more to our customers around the world,” said PacTec, Inc. Executive Vice President Mike Sanchez.  “Our partnership combines the resources and experience of two great companies with decades of experience and expertise.  Both PacTec and SECUR are now better equipped to offer the logistical, packaging and technical services our customers need. Our new alliance will help them be more successful.”

Added SECUR co-founder and President John Evanko, “This is a win-win for both of our companies and, more importantly, for the hazardous and radioactive waste management industry.”

The two companies said that they would jointly market their services and would exhibit together at trade shows. The companies said “significant” sales already have been generated through the cross-selling alliance.
