Yale Materials Handling Corporation announced the acquisition of Ohio Materials Handling (OMH) by Burns Industrial Equipment – a transaction designed to enhance coverage and strengthen support for Yale® lift truck customers in the Northeastern territory. Now part of the Burns Industrial Equipment group of companies, OMH’s Cleveland sales and service territory will continue to operate under the name of Ohio Materials Handling (OMH) from its Macedonia, Ohio, location. OMH president, Jim Orenga, will continue in his role to oversee operations. “By combining OMH with the expertise and resources of Burns Industrial Equipment, our customers can expect an even higher level of service and support,” said Orenga. “We couldn’t be happier about what the future holds for all of us.”

“More than 40 years ago, Burns Industrial Equipment was founded on the premise of providing the highest quality products supported by unparalleled service,” agreed Chris Burns, president of Burns Industrial Equipment. “We’re now continuing that tradition, building upon OMH’s 35 year history of excellence to become the premier materials handling company in Northeast Ohio.”

“Burns Industrial Equipment, a Yale Gold Service Authorized Dealer, and OMH together create an exceptionally focused organization,” said Bill Pfleger, president of Yale Distribution. “As Yale Dealer of Excellence achievers, both companies have clearly displayed their commitment to the customer – which will only strengthen when combined.”
