JW Winco, Inc., A Ganter Company, a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, now has available GN 616.1 Steel and Stainless Steel Spring Plungers, Nose Pin with Sealing Ring.

GN 616.1 spring plungers with sealing ring are used for locating as well as for pressure and stand-off functions. “Spring plungers with sealing rings last longer due to the fact that the seal prevents liquids and debris from entering the internal housing that may impair the spring’s function,” said John Winkler, CEO, Office of the President at JW Winco. The slot on the plunger side is provided for blind hole applications and requires a special tool, GN 616.5, for proper installation.

The steel versions housing and hardened steel nose pin have a blackened finish. Steel version has a stainless steel spring manufactured of European Standard No. 1.4305 (AISI 303) material and the sealing ring is rubber NBR (Perbunan). The stainless steel version’s housing is manufactured of European Standard No. 1.4305 (AISI 303) material, while the nose pin is European Standard No. 1.4305 (AISI 303), the spring is European Standard No. 1.4305 (AISI 303), and the sealing ring rubber NBR (Perbunan).
