Yale Lift Truck Technologies announces recognition by Fast Company as one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2025. Through a monthslong, multi-stage judging process, Yale emerged as one of the top 10 most innovative logistics companies of 2025, honored for its technology-enabled lift truck solutions and customer-driven design philosophy that address the labor, safety and productivity challenges of today’s fast-paced warehouses. Since 2008, Fast Company has used this award to celebrate trailblazing and trendsetting organizations that have introduced groundbreaking products, implemented novel business strategies, fostered positive social impact and reshaped industries through their transformative approaches.

“For us, innovation isn’t about just following the latest trends and chasing the newest technologies,” says Brad Long, Global Activation Manager, Yale Lift Truck Technologies. “It’s about getting to know the real-world challenges our customers face and focusing on commercializing the right technology to tackle those challenges. This award acknowledges that our customer-driven design approach not only brings value to our customers but also advances innovation across the industry.”

The company’s emphasis on technology integration and customer-driven research and development has led to a proven track record of bringing advanced technology solutions to market quickly. Examples include industry-first operator assistance technologies deployed on thousands of units in the field, advanced electric power options, and most recently, a reimagined lift truck automation platform. These innovations advance the materials handling industry by making groundbreaking technology available for more operations, on their terms.

Yale focuses on the needs of the customer to guide technology innovation, product development, and support. The design process begins with hours of interviews in which engineers talk with and observe lift truck operators and customers to gain an understanding of their day-to-day challenges. The engineers then work with industry-focused teams and outside experts to translate the customer’s needs into functional features and designs. These can include ergonomic features that improve operator comfort, features that simplify the maintenance process or advanced technologies that can help maintain lift truck stability to help reduce the risk of accidents like tip-overs.

In addition to the Fast Company award, Yale was also recognized as a Trailblazing Company in the 2025 BIG Innovation Awards, which celebrate organizations and individuals pushing boundaries and advancing their industries.
