Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics announces leadership changes

After six years as President & CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), Mr Arild B. Iversen is moving into a new role as consultant to the parent companies and WWL. Mr Christopher J. Connor, currently Deputy CEO & Chief Commercial Officer, will take over at the helm. “Under Arild Iversen’s solid and impressive leadership, WWL has grown to be a global leader in logistics, with a network that spans the globe over both land and sea,” comments Mr Leif Løddesøl, Chairman of the WWL Board of Directors.

“Throughout this time, Chris Connor has been a central member of the WWL executive team as well as Deputy CEO, making the factory to dealer strategy a reality. He knows the company and our customers well and has broad international experience in his field. I have every confidence in our new CEO.” concludes Leif Løddesøl. Mr Connor starts as President & CEO on June 21st, and will be located at the company’s headquarters in Lysaker, Norway.
With over 32 years of experience in the logistics industry, Mr Connor has held a range of positions, including President of WWL Americas and CEO of WWL Vehicle Services Americas, based in Woodcliff Lake, USA; Chief Operating Officer Ocean Services and Global Head of Commercial, based in Oslo, Norway; as well as commercial and executive positions in Asia and Europe. Mr. Connor is a graduate of Villanova University, PA, USA.
