The current CEO of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) has decided to leave the organization.
Jeanette Walker, in an email to the members of MHEDA, informed them that after much reflection, she had decided to leave the position she began on January 1, 2024.
“In the coming months, I will be working closely with the MHEDA Board of Directors Executive Committee to begin the search for MHEDA’s next leader,” said Walker. “During this transition period, I will continue to serve as CEO to help ensure a smooth and thoughtful process. Our goal is to identify a leader who will continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve created together and guide MHEDA into the future,” she added.
Walker replaced Liz Richards, who retired on December 31, 2023, after 28 years at MHEDA.
The MHEDA Board of Directors will begin the search for her replacement.
