Valley Industrial Trucks, Inc. (VIT), a full-service material handling company serving Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, proudly marks its 70th anniversary in 2026 while announcing a major industry accolade from long-time partner CLARK Material Handling Company.

Founded in 1956 in a modest shop on Youngstown-Poland Road, VIT has grown into one of the region’s premier providers of forklifts, aerial lifts, utility vehicles, attachments, and warehouse storage solutions. The company operates locations in Youngstown and Akron, offering sales, rentals, parts, service, and operator training for CLARK.

This milestone year also highlights VIT’s enduring partnership with CLARK, which has served as an authorized CLARK dealer for all 70 years. In recognition of outstanding performance in 2025, VIT has been honored with the CLARK Masters Award, placing it among the Top 5 CLARK dealers in North America. This distinction positions VIT as a finalist for the coveted CLARK Dealer of the Year, to be announced at an upcoming industry meeting.

The Master’s Award recognizes excellence across multiple criteria, including truck sales, parts sales, warranty support, technician and sales training, and overall customer service.
