Valley Craft appoints Doug Gates as director of sales and marketing

Valley Craft Industries, Inc. announced that Douglas W. Gates has been appointed
director of sales and marketing for this Lake City, Minnesota manufacturer of professional
grade material handling and storage equipment. Mr. Gates was previously director of business development for Aetrium – a maker of semiconductor test equipment. Before that he led the sales development activities at two different RFID start-ups – TPT and Aveso. He also spent 14 years with Mitsubishi Semiconductor – which later became a part of Hitachi’s Renesas Semiconductor. “Doug brings extensive experience in business development. He knows how to build a customer focused sales team and he knows how to penetrate new markets.” said Dennis Campbell, President and CEO of Valley Craft Industries. “Doug will play a key role in our efforts to deepen relationships with existing customers while developing new channels, new markets, and new products to grow our business” continued Campbell. Mr. Gates holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a MBA from Northern Illinois University.
