TVH in the Americas (TVH), provider of replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and industrial equipment industry announces the opening of its Active Workspace area in Olathe. This new space allows employees to enjoy the benefits of physical activity while working.
Employees can go for a stroll or a ride anytime during company hours, reserving a treadmill desk or stationary bike desk for a minimum of 15 minutes up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
Workstations are equipped with laptops and remote access. In addition, the space also offers collaboration and work areas.
“The new Active Workspace aligns with TVH’s mission to provide a culture of health. Wellness is a priority at TVH, and we look forward to having the new Active Workspace as a way to continue to make strides together,” CEO Els Thermote said. “I have been using a treadmill desk in my office for months. It helps me to stay focused and feel better. I am tremendously excited to have this option to help our employees get healthier.”
