Trillium CNG opens first compressed natural gas station in Monroe, La.

Trillium CNG™, a business unit of Integrys Energy Group, Inc. announces the opening of the first public access Class-8 accessible compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station at the E-Z Mart Convenience Store and Truck Stop located at 338 Highway 594 in Monroe, Louisiana. The CNG station is solely owned and operated by Trillium CNG and is part of an agreement with E-Z Mart Stores, Inc. The public access CNG station has easy access for heavy-duty fleets and is located just off Interstate 20 between Russell Sage road and Meadowlark drive. It will serve as the primary CNG fueling station for Paper Transport, Inc. The new CNG station will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will accept all major credit and fleet cards. The separate dual hose dispenser will allow two trucks to fuel simultaneously, and will feature Trillium CNG’s proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor. An official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening is being planned for a later date.
