Robroy Industries® Enclosures Division has announced the appointment of Hari Kumar as General Manager, overseeing the company’s Belding, Michigan, facility.

“Hari Kumar joins Robroy Industries as General Manager of the Enclosures Operations with more than 22 years of experience at BorgWarner, Inc. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles across multiple U.S. and European locations, spanning engineering, supply chain, and operations. This broad background positions him to guide Robroy’s Enclosures Division through its next stage of growth and innovation,” said Craig Mitchell, President of Robroy Industries’ Enclosures Division.

Hari’s most recent position was Plant General Manager at BorgWarner Thermal Systems in Cadillac, Michigan, where he was responsible for full P&L oversight and led transformative improvements in talent development, product integration, customer quality, and operational efficiency. His prior roles included leadership in supply chain management in Germany, multi-site operations oversight across Europe and South America, and senior operations management in the U.S. He has successfully led teams with over 650 employees, driving measurable results in profitability, quality, safety, and productivity.

With advanced degrees in Mechanical and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Hari is recognized for his focus on operational excellence, culture transformation, and continuous improvement. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, execution, and collaboration.
