Purolator names new strategic account executive

Purolator International announces the appointment of Michael Lamanna as strategic account executive responsible for customer support, sales and business development for the company’s largest accounts in the Northeast.  Lamanna comes to Purolator International with over 20 years of international sales experience with DHL Airways and DHL Express.  He will be based in Purolator International’s Norwalk, Conn. office, working for the corporate sales team that reports to Jon Routledge, vice president of sales and marketing. “I’d like to welcome Michael Lamanna to Purolator International,” said Routledge.  “His impressive background at DHL demonstrates his strong ability to attract and retain clients by developing strategies for their transportation and logistical needs.  We’re confident that Michael will excel in this new role, and deliver superior service to our customers in the Northeast.”

Before joining Purolator International, Lamanna served as nationala ccount manager for DHL Express in Norwalk, Conn., serving accounts such as General Electric and Atlas Air.  He spent more than 20 years with the company in a sales capacity where he consistently was named to the Sales Champion Club and received awards for campaign and sales excellence.

“Purolator International is renowned in the industry for providing superior service for businesses shipping to, from and within Canada,” said Lamanna.  “I’m excited to join the company and leverage my background in international sales to grow our regional customer base.” Lamanna earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Western New England College.
