Purolator International has been selected by SupplyChainBrain as one of its Top 100 Great SupplyChainBrain Partners.  Now in its 11th year, SupplyChainBrain’s list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners highlights companies that were nominated by their customers who have found their solutions and services to be outstanding. SupplyChainBrain received thousands of nominations for this competition that were culled down to 100.  Purolator International was nominated by Super ATV, a Madison, Indiana-based provider of products in the ATV/UTV parts and accessories recreational off-roading and utility business, for providing seamless and affordable transport of its products from the U.S. to Canada.

“Supply Chain Brain received nominations for hundreds of trading partners in every aspect of supply chain management during a six-month on-line poll  in which supply chain professionals were asked to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance,” said Brad Berger, Publisher, SupplyChainBrain.

“Purolator International is a U.S. subsidiary of Canada’s Purolator, Inc. and we’ve made it our business to facilitate cross-border delivery of U.S. goods into Canada by increasing our presence across those states that are ready to serve U.S. businesses entering the lucrative Canadian market,” said Purolator International President John Costanzo.  “There is a surge in demand for logistics experience and expertise in transporting goods between the United States and Canada, and this is Purolator International’s area of expertise.”

“We ship all over the United States but our Canadian business was limited due to the cost of shipping,” said Super ATV IT Administrator Joe Sage.  “Sometimes the cost of moving parts could approach the cost of the item purchased.  With our previous carrier we might make a payment of $80 or more per shipment.  With Purolator International’s expertise in exporting to Canada and its status as a preferred shipper, our shipments move seamlessly across the border at a cost of $30 or less.  We have increased our shipments from Indiana to Canada from two or three a week to more than 200.”
