Performance Team hires new chief information officer

Performance Team (PT) announced that the company has hired Jim Townsend as Chief Information Officer. Townsend’s responsibility is to build on PT’s current organizational strength while leading the IT strategy for the company. “PT always strives to exceed customer expectations and we plan on using IT as a competitive advantage to attain our goals,” said Craig Kaplan, CEO of Performance Team. “We look forward to Jim’s years of knowledge, experience and leadership as we work to continue to grow our business and reach these goals.”

Townsend comes with extensive experience in IT/IS strategy, change management, process improvement, project management, technological innovation and business intelligence for global multidisciplinary organizations. “I am pleased to be joining a team with such high standards and with such credibility in the industry, and I look forward to providing my knowledge and expertise,” said Townsend. Townsend holds a BA and MBA in Computer Science from Everest College and Kennedy Western University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Master Project Manager (MPM) as well as a Microsoft XP System.
