Motion Industries, Inc. has announced that the Motion Learning & Development Center’s (LDC) 2026 class schedule has released. These training opportunities are designed to empower professionals across North American industry.

From hands-on technical training to professional development and Microsoft Office courses, Motion’s comprehensive program offers flexible learning options both in-person at Motion Learning Centers across the U.S. and partner locations, as well as virtually. This robust lineup ensures participants can enhance their skills and advance their careers through convenient, expert-led instruction.

Open-enrollment classes provide instructor-led, hands-on learning experiences conducted by professional subject matter experts at convenient locations across the U.S. Many courses also offer a virtual attendance option to accommodate varied learning preferences

The 2026 schedule features three core types of courses:

  • Motion’s Learning & Development Center in Birmingham, Alabama, offers a 20,000 SF setting for classrooms, labs and overall essentials for talent retention and career growth.
  • Technical Courses: Includes hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, bearings and power transmission, CNC programming, process pumps, arc flash safety, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and more
  • Professional Development: Includes improving leadership skills, communication, time management, conflict resolution, effective teamwork, and more
  • Microsoft Courses: Includes Outlook Essentials; One Note; tiered levels of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; and more

Whether attending in person or virtually, participants can expect expert instruction tailored to meet the demands of today’s dynamic industry environment. Motion’s Learning & Development Center at the company’s main campus in Birmingham, Alabama, offers a 20,000 SF setting for classrooms, labs and overall essentials for talent retention and career growth. To support customers, hands-on training is also available in various cities across the U.S. and at in-plant customer locations in North America.

Registration is now open for all 2026 offerings

The Motion Learning & Development Center in the last year alone has upskilled over 20,000 live-class attendees through 435 live classes. In addition, 300,000 online trainings were completed by employees in 2024. The Center also offers training assessments, on-site training, custom lab equipment, and more. The program has continuously evolved since its beginnings in 1988 as The Motion Institute.
