Magline, Inc. has announced the appointment of Jonathan Welzel as Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Welzel will lead Magline’s global marketing strategy, brand positioning, demand generation, product roadmap and go-to-market strategies, pricing strategy, and market research, with an eye towards digital transformation.

Welzel brings more than 15 years of executive-level marketing leadership across B2B, B2C, eCommerce, agency, and omnichannel environments. He is widely recognized as a hybrid marketing leader who blends data-driven strategy with creative brand building to drive profitable growth, customer acquisition, and long-term brand equity.

“Jonathan’s ability to align marketing strategy directly to revenue, margin, and customer experience makes him an ideal leader for Magline’s next phase of growth,” said Greg Ecker, Magline’s Chief Executive Officer. “His track record of building high-performance teams and modern marketing ecosystems will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen the Magliner brand and expand our reach and team.”

Prior to joining Magline, Welzel served in a variety of senior marketing leadership roles including CMO at Wild Bill’s Tobacco, VP of Demand Generation at Bluewater Technologies, CMO of Optimum Dealership Group, and ran the digital marketing for a global division of New Balance Athletics Inc.

Welzel holds advanced degrees from both the University of Minnesota and the University of Michigan.

“I’m honored to join Magline and work with a brand that has such a strong legacy of quality, innovation, and American manufacturing,” said Welzel. “There is a tremendous opportunity to build on Magline’s leadership position by modernizing our go-to-market strategy, deepening customer relationships, and driving sustainable growth across channels by empowering our sales teams.”
