Longistics names new human resources manager

Longistics has announced that Nicole Blake has joined the company as human resource manager. In her new position, Blake is responsible for overseeing human resource development including: employee relations, recruitment and selection, benefits administration, compliance and the training and development for new employees. 

Blake previously served as the human resource executive for Wake Health Services, Inc, a private, not-for-profit, comprehensive community health center serving Wake County in North Carolina. In her six years at Wake Health Services, Blake served as a member of the senior management team and was responsible for organizational and strategic planning, workforce development and providing critical support by leading HR functions for six primary health, pediatrics and dental facilities throughout Wake and Franklin County.

Blake has earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Human Resource (HRCI) certifications. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and is involved with various community healthcare programs such as food drives, clothes drives and involvement with the North Carolina Community Health Association.
