KPI Solutions (KPI) has announced a project that will transform the distribution network for a $20bn+ global consumer goods company.
This new solution consolidates multiple satellite facilities into one larger, automated, and more efficient distribution center that is conveniently located adjacent to an existing manufacturing plant. The solution is designed to significantly boost order throughput speed, enable direct customer shipments, expand capacity to over 100,000 pallet positions, and increase productivity.
At the center of project design is an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). This high-density pallet shuttle solution is designed to optimize space, reduce manual handling, and increase energy efficiency. The facility is scheduled to go live in 2027.

“We are honored to design this solution that is central to an over-arching infrastructure investment and will result in a scalable, resilient, and flexible distribution system,” said Andy Recard, Vice President, Sales at KPI Solutions. “This innovative, large-scale project will enable a high-performance, high-volume environment that meets today’s customer expectations and support growth for tomorrow’s market demands.”
