Jep and Jessica Robertson of the hit A&E TV series Duck Dynasty will be in Norman, Okla., on Saturday, Aug. 31, when the Oklahoma Sooners take the football field for their 2013 season opener against Louisiana-Monroe. The opening game is being sponsored by Hyster Company.  “We’re excited to kick off the 2013 college football season in Norman,” said Mark Hoch, director of sales for Hyster Company. “Toughness is a common theme between Hyster, the cast of A&E’s Duck Dynasty and the OU football team, so Hyster is sponsoring this season opener to highlight our durable lift trucks.”

Jep and Jessica will be attending OU Fan Fest as part of the football pre-game festivities from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Hyster® Forklift Interactive Tent for pictures, and they will then be at the Sooner Sports Properties Hospitality Village meeting fans from 5 to 5:30 p.m. The Robertsons will take part in the pre-game ceremonies on the field as part of the Hyster game sponsor presentation before watching the game from a suite at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

A&E’s Duck Dynasty series follows a family of bearded, Louisiana duck hunters who own a multi-million dollar duck call business—Duck Commander. The show recently kicked off its fourth season on A&E, with the 2013 premiere setting a non-fiction, cable TV record with 11.8 million viewers.

Jules Jeptha “Jep” Robertson is the youngest son of Phil and Kay Robertson. He is a cameraman and editor for the family business, including the Duckmen DVD series and the television show, Benelli Presents Duck Commander. Jep and Jessica reside in Louisiana with their four children: Lily, Merritt, Priscilla and River.
