Shoppa’s Material Handling announced that Joe Estill joined the company to further advance the human resources department of the dealership. He brings 20 years of advanced leadership experience to the role and will oversee human resources at eight Shoppa’s locations.

Most recently, Estill served as Vice President, Human Resources for AECOM, where he developed and implemented human resources policies and practices, helping to integrate four diverse business units. With this specialized skill set, Shoppa’s is confident in Estill’s abilities to help design and implement human resource programs and policies for staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety.

Jim Shoppa, President, Shoppa’s Material Handling said “Joe’s expertise and years of experience in nearly every aspect of human resources management will continue to build upon the already existing positive work environment here at Shoppa’s. We look forward to perpetuate that positive culture for current and future employees.”

Estill’s previous experience also includes HR leadership roles at CSC and Dyncorp. He subscribes to the philosophy that the best way to accelerate the development of an organization is to “hire up” and create a team of excellence. “I look forward to bringing a broad based and disciplined approach to Shoppa’s in order to develop appropriate, effective and efficient HR practices,” Estill stated. “I am confident in Estill’s capabilities to bring Shoppa’s to the next level,” Jim Shoppa added.
