E Tech Group names visionary sales leader Sean Smiley as First Chief Revenue Officer

As CRO, Smiley’s leadership will strengthen E Tech Group’s sales strategy and support continued expansion across key markets.

E Tech Group  has announced the appointment of Sean Smiley as Chief Revenue Officer, effective immediately. Smiley will be a key member of the executive team, informing the company’s overall strategy on territory and market expansion, international growth, and product development to serve E Tech Group’s clients globally.

Smiley joins E Tech Group with over 20 years of experience in sales leadership, operational execution, and high-growth strategy within the industrial automation sector. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services at Stratus Technologies, where he led a global team of 190 sales professionals across 22 locations. Prior to that, he was Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Eagle Automation. Earlier in his career, he played a key leadership role at Cimation, helping position the company for its successful acquisition by Accenture. Smiley has also held senior roles at Rockwell Automation, Yokogawa, and Emerson.

In his new role, Smiley will lead the sales organization, shape and execute E Tech Group’s go-to-market strategy, lead client acquisition efforts, and ensure close coordination between sales, marketing, and revenue operations.  He prioritizes value-driven client engagement, clear communication, and accountability to help foster a sales culture that supports long-term growth and client success.
