CLARK Material Handling Company and its employees were recognized as God’s Pantry’s 2013 Distribution Center Corporate Volunteer of the Year. The award was presented, Thursday September 12th at the God’s Pantry Partner Appreciation Reception and acknowledges CLARK employees for regularly volunteering at the food bank sorting, repacking food and participating in backpack programs to fight hunger. CLARK employees volunteer over 2,900 hours a year in the community to various local organizations and causes. Dennis Lawrence, CLARK’s President & CEO commented, “Community involvement is something CLARK takes seriously. To be acknowledged by God’s Pantry for something our employees are passionate about is truly an honor.” For 56 years, God’s Pantry has been collecting and distributing donated food to agencies across central and eastern KY. Today, God’s Pantry works with more than 275 partner agencies to fight hunger.
