Bill LeMeur retires at the end of December 2024

After more than 43 remarkable years of dedication and leadership, William (Bill) T. LeMeur is retiring from Superior Tire & Rubber Corp., on Dec 31, 2024. Bill’s journey with the company began in April 1981, following several summer roles in the plant that prepared him for a career defined by innovation and excellence.

Starting as a Molding Manager, Bill’s commitment and passion quickly propelled him into leadership roles. In 1987, he was appointed Director of Sales & Marketing, where he played a pivotal role in shaping Superior’s market presence. By 1993, he had earned the title of Executive Vice President, a position in which he drove the company’s growth and sustained its reputation for quality and service.

Reflecting on his career, Bill shared, “I am the most fortunate peddler. Having the best products in the market, produced by the best team in the industry, made the day-to-day competition exhilarating.”

Bill’s excitement for the business, his unwavering support of the Superior Tire & Rubber team, and his leadership legacy have left an indelible mark on the company and the industry at large.

In retirement, Bill looks forward to splitting his time between Warren, PA, and Kure Beach, NC, alongside his partner, Janine R. Tomassoni. While he may be stepping away from the business, his contributions and influence will undoubtedly be felt for years to come.
