Barcoding director named a “Pro to Know”

Barcoding, Inc. announces that Tom O’Boyle, director of RFID, has been named a 2014 “Provider Pro to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. The Supply & Demand Chain Executive Provider Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives who are leading initiatives to help prepare their clients’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, O’Boyle came to Barcoding in May 2013 as a result of the company’s acquisition of Miles Technologies, Inc., which he joined in 1999 as a partner/principal. At Miles, and now as the head of Barcoding’s new practice, RFID by Barcoding™, O’Boyle is leading the design, integration, and deployment of RFID solutions that help clients make their supply chains more accurate, efficient, and connected. Even when RFID is not a viable option for a client, O’Boyle and RFID by Barcoding are able to recommend an alternative solution that will deliver the best possible results.   “It is an honor to be selected to the prestigious Pros to Know awards list,” said Tom O’Boyle, director of RFID, Barcoding, Inc. “Today, many business are finding it more difficult to expedite product movement and meet growing demands all while operating a leaner, more efficient supply chain. With automation technology, such as RFID, these organizations can obtain complete supply chain visibility to improve inventory accuracy, increase speed to market, and enhance customer satisfaction – all leading to significant ROI.”   Supply & Demand Chain Executive received more than 300 entries for the 2014 Pros to Know Award. A full list of 2014 winners is available at www.sdcexec.com, and in the March 2014 print issue of the magazine due out in mid-March.
