Advantech is thrilled to announce that the UTC-620 All-in-One Touch Panel PC was chosen as a winner of Best of Show Award at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. With its 21.5” full HD display, the UTC-620 is a multifunctional terminal for iRetail solutions. Powered by 4th Generation Intel® Core™ U-series (i5/Celeron) processor, this panel PC provides excellent performance with low power consumption.

NewBay Media’s first annual Best of Show Awards honored outstanding products exhibited at the InfoComm Show. AV/IT technology managers, AV system integrators, and industry experts who were chosen in advance by the editors of NewBay Media’s publications reviewed the nominations, evaluated the entry products at the show and chose the winners. The benchmark for the panel’s decision comprised of ease of installation and maintenance, anticipated reliable performance, richness of feature set, relevance in the marketplace, value proposition, network friendliness and versatility. The All-in-One Touch Panel PC for iRetail solutions impressed judges with its full range of peripherals such as a 5-Megapixel camera with built-in microphone, MSR (Magnetic Strip Reader), RFID reader, 2D barcode scanner, and soft-keys that are fitting for order entry, check-in, guided selling and more. Advantech’s UTC-620 was distinguished by NewBay Media’s Digital Signage Magazine and will be featured in a Best of Show Awards Program Guide.

UTC-620 series offers flexible choices, high performance and high durability that make it ideal for retail, hospitality, self-service and public services applications. It is now available for evaluation and will be officially released in August, 2014. Advantech maintains excellence by constantly surpassing industry standards and continually developing new and better products and services.
