Yale Materials Handling Corporation enhances warehouse product offering at ProMat 2013

Yale Materials Handling Corporation is kicking off its efforts this week at ProMat 2013 (Booth #1003) to become the fastest growing company in the warehouse industry. To meet the needs of warehouse customers, Yale is introducing the MO25 center rider lift truck, in addition to several new features and options for its line of warehouse lift trucks. “The warehouse industry presents a significant growth opportunity for Yale® dealers, and we are going to bring a number of new products, features and technologies to the market,” said Bill Pfleger, president of Yale Distribution. “The relationship with Yale doesn’t stop at the product and its features, but extends to our service offering through our dedicated dealer and service support network to help ensure our customers get the greatest value possible from their lift truck investment.” The new Yale MO25 center rider lift truck eases second level order picking through its fully adjustable electronic power steering, automatic speed reduction in cornering and its suspended platform with an  operator sensing floor mat. The electric steering reduces steer effort by 90 percent. The MO25 truck features numerous operator compartment and platform advantages for efficiency and ergonomic benefits. The control handle reduces the arm movement needed to change directions, helping to reduce fatigue, increase productivity and allowing the operator to remain inside the truck footprint for protection. The truck’s electro-mechanical disc brakes are top mounted for ease of maintenance or inspection. Also on display at the Yale booth are new features for its MPE080VG end rider, ESC040AC three-wheel stand lift truck and the three-wheel ERP-VT sit-down truck. The MPE end rider features enhanced rollers and entry bar for better pallet entry and exit, and also includes an electric power steering option. Also new to the MPE is voice-directed picking technology for greater efficiency and ease of use and maneuverability. The ESC three-wheel stand and ERP-VT sit-down trucks both share a new integral sideshifting fork positioner that allows load and fork positioning for various pallet sizes to be adjusted without the operator leaving the compartment, increasing productivity and reducing product or equipment damage.
