Wildeck, Inc. – With the myriad of competitive railing systems available today – both foreign and domestic – Wildeck affirmed its reputation at ProMat as the leading U.S. manufacturer of the strongest and highest quality industrial guard rail on the market.  Tested to withstand an impact from a 13,000 lb. load traveling at 4 mph, Wilgard® railing has been proven in thousands of applications and facilities to protect expensive equipment, shield in-plant offices and work areas, and define traffic patterns for fork trucks and plant personnel. Wilgard protective railing systems feature strong corrugated 11 gauge steel rails (approximately 12” wide) and 5” x 5” x 3/16” wall thickness structural tube columns.  Hefty 12” x 12” x 3/4” thick base plates properly anchored with the included hardware ensure that the system can take a hit without failure.  According to Hue Schlegel, Director of Marketing at Wildeck, “When Wilgard guard rail is installed; facility equipment, rack systems, shipping areas and personnel are protected from harm’s way.  The benefits can include reduced downtime, fewer workman’s compensation claims, and lower insurance costs.” A section of double-rail Wilgard guard rail, integrated with the company’s unique roll-a-way EdgeGard™ folding-rail dock gate, was shown in Wildeck’s booth 1252 at ProMat 2013.  Wilgard railing systems are available with either 18” high or 44” high columns to support single-rail, double-rail, or triple-rail guard rail.  Lift-out guard rail systems are also available in single-rail or double-rail configurations to allow convenient access to machinery or equipment for servicing, cleaning, or repair. Other Wildeck safety guarding products include end-of-aisle rack protectors, rack upright protectors, bollards, column protectors, Trackgard™ overhead door track protectors, machine/safety guards, a new SaferGate™ pedestrian crossing gate that bolts directly to existing Wilgard guard rail columns, and a complete range of safety gates for safe access to mezzanines and elevated platforms.
