Tri-Boro Storage Products introduces Steel-Clad Impact Panels for pallet rack

Listen to this article

Tri-Boro Storage Products has introduced its new Steel-Clad panels that protect your storage rack system from costly forklift damage. Steel-Clad impact panels are high strength internal column reinforcements that occupy the same space as the frame footprint. Steel-Clad panels work invisibly inside aisle side columns to prevent impact damage and column deformation.

Steel-Clad offers more impact resistance than closed box columns, column protectors, or double columns. Pallet rack frames with Steel-Clad panels are made by welding heavy duty 12 gauge steel inserts to the inside of a roll-formed column. Steel-Clad puts the extra steel only where it is needed and most effective – in the lower section of aisle side columns.

For maximum effectiveness, Steel-Clad impact panels should be at least as high as the top of the first beam level. Lengths from 24″ to 96″ are available in 6″ increments.

Steel-Clad panels are an economical and space-saving alternative to double columns and external column protectors.

All frames with Steel-Clad include a heavy-duty bottom horizontal, which provides additional strength and resistance to damage.

Steel-Clad is available NOW for all Tri-Boro pallet rack frame models.
