Shaft mount components machined from plastics for washdown

Custom thermoplastic shaft collars, couplings and flange mounts for food processing equipment and conveyors used in wet environments and requiring frequent washdown are being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.  Stafford Plastic Shaft Mount Components are machined from Teflon®, Delrin®, nylon and other thermoplastics and supplied with stainless steel clamping screws.  Developed for FDA- and USDA-approved processing equipment and conveyors, they include one- and two-piece shaft collars, set-screw collars, hinged shaft collars, one- and two-piece couplings and flange mounts. Suitable for applications requiring frequent washdown and exposure to chemicals such as food- and pharmaceutical processing, Stafford plastic shaft mount components are available in 1” to 4” I.D. bore sizes.  Allowing system designers to exactly match other components, they can also be supplied in stainless steel, steel and anodized aluminum.
