Server boards achieve VMware-ready validation

Advantech announced that ASMB series serverboards have passed VMware Ready validation which will accelerate deployment and optimize virtualized environment performance for customers. New solutions are configured to take maximum advantage of VMware vSphere functionality, delivering turnkey solutions that accelerate deployment and ease management and maintenance of hyper-scale virtualized environments. The new ASMB series aim to provide an ideal and trusted platform for customers building industrial clouds.

Advantech provides different solutions to meet customers’ virtualization hardware requirements from POC Lab to data center. For example, the ASMB-784 G4 motherboard provides four Gigabit LAN ports for customers who need to focus on data transmission or LAN port teaming functions for each virtual machine. Now more and more customers use Intel® Hyper-Threading technology from a hypervisor platform to increase virtual CPU cores. Advantech also provides the ASMB-922I serverboard to meet the needs of applications that require two Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 series CPUs.
