“At ORBIS we’ve seen how automation can solve some of the biggest supply chain challenges, whether it’s through robotics, the rapid growth of automated vehicles, combating inventory shrinkage with tracking, and more,” said Lynn Hediger, vice-president of product management. “We have a great story to tell about our ability to collaborate with automated system providers and end users to create reusable solutions that lead to measurable results. And ProMat is an ideal format to tell it.”

ORBIS provides both standard and custom products, such as the AROS® tote family and 40×48 Odyssey® 3-Runner Pallet, for use with automated systems. The company will have two in-booth demos:

  • AGILOX OCF: This omnidirectional AMR with counterweight will handle four different ORBIS pallet loads (Odyssey 3-Runner Pallet, Odyssey SD Pallet, Odyssey Low-Profile, and the P3 Pallet), showcasing reusable pallets interfacing with today’s AGVs. AGILOX is exhibiting in Booth #N7553.
  • Lumabot® autonomous mobile robot: This static robot, courtesy of Onward Robotics, will be paired with ORBIS Collapsible Mini-Load Totes, stack and nest totes, and Part Bins to highlight tote picking applications. Lumabot is an interactive AMR designed for accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Onward Robotics is exhibiting in booth #N8132.
