The Megamat RS 350 Vertical Carousel with new Power Pick Global Automotive Inventory Management Software will be on display in Kardex Remstar booth 6544W at NADA 2015 in San Francisco, CA January 23-25. Kardex Remstar now offers a certified interface for ADP and Reynolds & Reynolds for improved parts management in automotive dealerships. This new interface automatically synchronizes the databases, increasing worker productivity and improves inventory accuracy all from one work station.

When utilizing automation, Power Pick Global moves the Megamat RS to deliver all parts within an order. Parts are brought directly to an operator at an ergonomic work station. Pick to light technology, such as Transaction Information Center (TIC), directs the operator to the exact pick location and displays pertinent picking information such as the part number, part description and quantity to pick. Eliminating the operator walking and searching for parts  increases worker productivity.

Integrating Power Pick Global with a DMS allows for the part databases to be synchronized automatically. The physical inventory module also allows a selection of a random sampling of parts to count as well as specify a value for high dollar parts to count. This reduces the time to process physical inventory from weeks to days. With the click of a button, stock levels can be uploaded to the DMS from Power Pick Global, improving the accuracy of inventory on hand.

Designed on the goods to person principle, parts are brought directly to the worker increasing worker efficiency and picking productivity. Eliminating wasted walk and search time commonly associated with standard picking and distribution applications, dynamic storage systems can increase productivity up to 2/3.

Utilizing vertical storage space from floor to ceiling, dynamic storage systems can reduce floor space requirements by up to 85%.  Allowing organizations to store more product while using less floor space reduces expansion and new construction costs.
