Janus announces new door model 3100 IM roll-up door

The enhancements are the result of increasing demand for impact rated roll-up doors for coastal regions

Janus International, your trusted source for leading edge commercial roll-up door solutions, today announced that recent performance enhancements to their original model 3100 door have resulted in the new Model 3100 IM roll-up door. This new addition has been tested, approved and now adopted into the Florida Building Code, and has been submitted for approval from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI).

Some of the features on the model 3100 IM include:

  •     Increased mounting options: Wood Jambs and Steel Jambs (14 gauge min.)
  •     Reduced number of required windlocks for larger door heights for improved performance
  •     Double angle bottom bars for increased strength and security
  •     Availability in sizes up to 14 feet wide
  •     +40 PSF and -40 PSF wind load rating
  •     ANSI/DASMA 108 static pressure
  •     ANSI/DASMA 115 impact and cyclic
  •     Available in all color options

The Model 3100 IM with Florida Building Code approval will be in production beginning Spring 2019.
