Introducing a new visual picking display tool from Power Pick Global

Listen to this article

When it comes to display monitors for picking, the bigger the better. Now available from Power Pick Global software, an enhanced picking display monitor can be integrated into a picking station to increase picking accuracy and speed. Traditionally, workers would take a paper pick list and walk up and down shelving searching for parts required to fill an order. As time goes on, companies are turning to new technology for maintaining all business functions whether it be picking and shipping in the warehouse, or order management in the office. Using paper just doesn’t make sense anymore.

The new visual display monitor tool available with Power Pick Global integrates an additional monitor into the picking station to enhance the picking process. This additional monitor can display a variety of information including the order number, part number, part description, quantity to pick, location and a picture of the part. This monitor works in addition to the Power Pick Global software computer and in conjunction with pick to light technology. The monitor can be placed anywhere within the pick station to provide the operator multiple points of reference and increasing picking speed. This monitor can also offer the operator quick access to more detailed order information than pick to light technology provides; such as order number or a picture of the part.
