CLARK Material Handling Company has announced the official launch of CLARK SMART Telematics, a cutting-edge technology platform designed to enhance safety, productivity, and fleet management efficiency. Beginning July 16, CLARK SMART will be available as a factory-installed option on four of our most popular models: the GTS20-33, S20-35, S40-60, and S20-32C.

With no recurring fees and a five-year service plan included, CLARK SMART provides real-time data, remote access, and comprehensive analytics—all fully integrated into the truck’s CAN Bus system for seamless operation.

Key Features of CLARK SMART Include:

  • GPS Tracking & Remote Shutdown: Instantly locate trucks, monitor hour usage, and shut down equipment in cases of unauthorized use or safety concerns.
  • Real-Time Accident Alerts: Get immediate notifications when impact events occur, enabling supervisors to assess and control risk instantly.
  • Automated Pre-Shift Inspections: Eliminate paper logs with digital inspections saved automatically. Non-compliant responses can trigger safe-mode operation or shutdowns until reviewed.
  • Direct Messaging to Operators: Send real-time instructions or cancel tasks before time is wasted.
  • Operator Access Control: Secure access via badge or PIN, with custom permissions tailored to individual users, machines, or departments.
  • Service Alerts: Never miss preventive maintenance tasks again with hour- and date-based notifications.
  • Rental Management Tools: Monitor rentals remotely, track hours for accurate billing, and shut down delinquent accounts—whether the truck is powered on or not.
  • Web-Based Analytics and Reporting: Access on-demand reports to optimize fleet use, manage operator productivity, and reduce downtime.
