New automated system increases efficiency and accuracy when booking construction equipment for multiple locations

BigRentz has launched a proprietary automated bulk order system that enables national construction and maintenance companies to rent construction equipment more easily and accurately for planned maintenance or remodeling projects across the country.

Previously, specialty construction companies would come to BigRentz with lists of future projects with similar rental needs.  BigRentz manually inputted these bulk orders consisting of 50 to 250 customer locations that required the same heavy equipment at each site, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, with only the date and location changing. The manual process was error-prone that resulted in up to a 4% error rate among orders that could take hours to complete. Now with the new bulk order system, bulk orders are processed all at once, with hundreds accurately inputted and confirmed in as little as 10 minutes.

“We are always striving to improve processes and customer satisfaction, so when we were finding errors in a labor-intensive process, we knew there had to be a better solution”, explained Liam Stannard, Chief Technology Officer at BigRentz. “BigRentz’s team of engineers developed a new program that automated the process. Since its launch earlier this month, we’ve experienced 100% accuracy. This takes our service to a new level.”

National accounts can submit their bulk orders to BigRentz by emailing their account representative. BigRentz’s operations representative ensures the required fields are complete for quality assurance, and the BigRentz bulk order system takes care loading the orders and sourcing the equipment through QuickRentz, another BigRentz proprietary system that enables our suppliers to claim deals via email or text message with the click of a button.
