Revolutionizing horizontal bandsawing in the material handling industry. Automatic bandsaw delivers cost-effective cutting for diverse material handling applications.

BEHRINGER Saws, Inc. highlights its groundbreaking HBE511A Dynamic horizontal bandsaw. This automatic bandsaw delivers high-performance saw cuts with very tight tolerances across a wide range of materials in the material handling industry, from easy-to-machine metals and plastics.

BEHRINGER’s HBE511A Dynamic is highly versatile, efficiently handling profiles, tubes, and solid materials. Its wide-opening full enclosure design ensures uncompromising work protection without sacrificing accessibility, making it a safe and practical choice for various industrial applications. The bandsaw’s low energy consumption contributes to energy-saving production, aligning with modern sustainability goals.

The HBE511A Dynamic features BEHRINGER’s in-house manufactured cast iron band guiding parts that provide superior vibration damping directly at the cutting edge, significantly extending tool life. The machine’s Auto-Feed-Control (AFC) system utilizes an extensive material database, including tempering and electro-slag remelting (ESR) data, to automatically calculate optimal saw feed and cutting speed values. This ensures precision across a wide spectrum of materials and contributes to the bandsaw’s energy efficiency, achieving approximately 30% reduction in energy consumption compared to its predecessor.

The bandsaw’s portal-design guide system combines a stable, low-vibration saw frame with a linear guide system to enhance precision, guarantee exceptional results, and maximize service life. The servo downfeed system, consisting of a ball screw and servo motor, significantly reduces idle times and enhances feed precision, resulting in higher cutting performance and extended band life. Similarly, the servo-driven material feeding gripper assures tight and repeatable length tolerances.

The HBE511A Dynamic showcases an impressive array of cutting capabilities. With a cutting range of 20.1 inches for round materials and 20.1 x 20.1 inches for flat materials at 90°, the bandsaw effortlessly handles large workpieces, making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications. It also maintains precision for smaller cuts, accurately processing round materials as small as 0.4 inches in diameter and flat materials as small as 0.4 x 0.3 inches. Versatility in handling both large and small cuts on a single machine increases productivity by reducing the need for multiple specialized saws, lowers costs, and improves workflow efficiency. The HBE511A Dynamic’s ability to maintain accuracy across various material sizes minimizes waste, contributing to more economical and sustainable manufacturing processes.

BEHRINGER has prioritized user-friendliness in the HBE511A Dynamic’s design. All functions can be easily operated via an intuitive touch interface. The electrically driven chip brush, featuring a quick-change device for tool-free brush changes, protects saw band teeth through a special engagement angle. A double clamping vice offers enhanced process reliability, especially for bundle cutting or single cuts.

The dynamic sawing process significantly increases cutting performance by up to 50%, depending on the material, boosting overall output. The sawing expertise embedded in the machine control system allows for easy adaptation of production to changing requirements, ensuring scalable production capabilities.

With its combination of economic efficiency, versatility, precision, and user-centric design, the BEHRINGER HBE511A Dynamic horizontal bandsaw represents a significant advancement in metalworking technology. It stands ready to meet the evolving demands of modern manufacturing, reinforcing BEHRINGER’s position as an industry innovator in resource-saving and high-performance bandsawing solutions.
